Fabulous Tortoiseshell Vintage Button Necklace

Fabulous necklace hand-crafted from huge Bakelite Vintage Buttons Circa 1930’s – 40s. This necklace is a real showstopper and the faux tortoiseshell resembles amber at its best. The necklace is constructed using contrasting plastic tubular thread and coated nickel plated wire and is finished with a simple plastic loop fastener. These buttons are truly astonishing examples of the heyday of button making, not only is this unique necklace beautiful to look at and wonderful to wear, the buttons used in its construction are rare and highly sought after by collectors.
