Super Funky Green Vintage Button Necklace

Get down and groovy with this extremely funky, original Bakelite Vintage Button Necklace. The buttons used in its construction are mainly Bakelite with some Celluloid. There are an interesting variety of techniques featured in this piece including carved Bakelite, carved Celluloid, moulded and pressed Celluloid and Celluloid drum. The buttons range in age from 1930s – 60s. It is a long necklace designed to slip over the head, so no clasp to break and risk losing this unique piece. Not only is this necklace beautiful to look at and wonderful to wear, the buttons used in its construction are rare and highly sought after by collectors.
